Our congregation understands that faith is “caught, not taught.” We encourage parents to take seriously their roles as the primary influences on their children’s faith, while at the same time supporting Christian education in the congregation for all ages.
Sunday mornings include a class for adults and young adults, a nursery class, a lower and upper elementary class, and a middle school class. Confirmation classes for 9th through 11th grades involve young people in a more intensive program of faith formation over a three-year period. Other special education events, such as regular Bible Study and Wednesday evening Lenten programs are also offered throughout the year.
September through May (the school year), learners and teachers gather for Sunday School at 9:00 AM, followed by Worship at 10:30 AM. From June through August, Sunday School takes a break and worshippers gather for the 9:00 AM Worship service.
